This year featuring:
On Thursday, June 18, The Four Saxophones Octet will give a concert paying tribute to jazz giant Woody Herman: 4 saxophones (3 tenors and a baritone) with the Harry Allen quartet in exhilarating swing music inspired by Woody Herman's "Four Brothers" octet.
On Friday, June 19, The International Swing Quintet with clarinetist Antti Sarpila will appear in a tribute to Benny Goodman in honor of the 100th anniversary of his birth. The quintet will give a rendition of hot new swing incorporating original arrangements by the King of Swing.
In the concluding performance, to be held on Saturday night, June 20, The Chris Barber Jazz and Blues Big Band will give a special concert with fabled trombonist Chris Barber and the stars of traditional jazz, in a celebration of Dixieland, blues, and the music of New Orleans.

"Over the past five years the festival has served as the focus for a developing audience of traditional jazz lovers, who appreciate the music, artists, and unique setting provided by the ancient harbor", says festival director, Menachem Dotan. "Many international jazz artists have approached us and expressed interest in performing at the festival. This is a badge of honor for us and for all Israeli jazz lovers, who have helped turn the Caesarea Jazz Festival into a recurring tradition. I warmly recommend taking a break from daily events and coming to listen to the magic of jazz in the most beautiful location in Israel."
During the festival, jazz performances will also take place on the promenade leading to the harbor, with the unique Israeli group Swing de Gitanes, in a tribute to the Hot Club de France Quintet founded by famed guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stיphane Grappelli. The quintet left an indelible mark on the history of jazz and popularized the gypsy jazz style. Every evening Swing de Gitanes will recreate the famed sound of the original quintet, in an ensemble consisting of three guitars, a contrabass and a violin, and will play the best of the band's hits: minor swing, swing guitar, nuages, dinah, and others. The ensemble consists of: Oren Sagi - contrabass, Yaakov Hoter, Uri Ben Zvi, Roni Freund - guitar, Favel Levin - violin.
